If you live further afield, don’t panic, the antenatal courses can also be held through online sessions.

Hypnobirthing Antenatal educator, Demelza

Birth is a Journey

Where and how you choose to give birth is entirely your decision—and it shouldn’t define how you feel about your experience. What truly matters is how you feel about your baby’s birth afterwards, no matter how your journey unfolds. Whether you opt for a home birth, a birth centre, or a hospital labour ward, whether you go for a natural, unmedicated birth or choose medication, or whether you go through interventions, induction, or a caesarean, your experience is valid and important. My aim is for you to be able to look back upon your baby’s arrival as a truly positive and empowering experience wherever your birthing journey takes you.

Birth partner supporting during labour

There are lots of things that birth partners can do to provide support and reassurance during labour and birth. Above everything else, your presence is the most important thing – you have been chosen because she trusts you and wants you to be there.
