If you’re short on time, want a refresher for a second or subsequent birth, or just want a short session covering a particular area of antenatal education, then my bespoke antenatal sessions might be for you.
£25 per hour (minimum booking – 2 hours)
CHOOSE FROM THE FOLLOWING AREAS OF ANTENATAL EDUCATION:
- The physiological process of birth, how the muscles work and the hormones involved.
- Stages of labour and what to do during each, including breathing techniques.
- Places to give birth and pain relief options.
- Birth biomechanics – ways to restore balance in pregnancy and during labour.
- The process of induction and how to help make it a positive experience.
- Gentle caesarean birth
- How to set up a positive birthing environment and what to back in your birth bag.
- The role of the birth partner.
- How to prepare for birth physically and mentally.
- Birth preferences.
Antenatal sessions are delivered in person at the client’s home in Launceston and surrounding areas. If you live further afield, online sessions can be booked at a reduced fee.
